Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is to be launched in India soon. Xiaomi’s smart fitness app is an upgraded Mi Band 2 launched in May last year. Now its teaser has been released on Amazon.in. It is clear from the teaser of this e-commerce site that Shaomai Mi Band 3 will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Amazon India has used the #SmarterLiving hashtag for this, which points to Xiaomi’s smart living event. Please tell that the event of Xiaomi will be held in Bengaluru on 27th September. It is being speculated that this Chinese company will also launch several other smart products in addition to Xiaomi Mi Band 3.
Amazon India has made separate webpage live for Mi Band 3. The teaser is a sign of launch, along with real-time fitness tracking in online listings and better battery life. Apart from this, teasers have been released for the big display in the new im band.
Mi Band 3 price and specification
At present, there is no information about the price and availability of Xiaomi band 3 in India. At same time, the price of Mi Band 3 in China starts at 169 Chinese Yuan (around Rs 1,800). Xiaomi has also released the NFC version of the band, which is about 199 Chinese yuan (around Rs 2,100). Remember that Mi Band 2 in India was launched in September at Rs 1,999.
The new m-band model is upgraded to the company’s Mi Band 2. It comes with a capacitive touchscreen and it is a water resistant up to 5 M. About this, there is a claim of up to 20 hours of battery life in a single charge and it will be available in three colors.
Xiaomi Mi Band 3
Like last year’s Mi Band 2, there will be an app and call notifications in Xiaomi Mi Band 3. There is also a Health Management feature with motion tracking. It’s also water-resistant. It has been claimed that there is nothing to be done about drowning in deep water for about 50 meters. Xiaomi has not said anything about the IP rating Xiaomi Mi will work with the band 3 Android 4.4 and above, or devices running iOS 9.0 and above. Like Mi Band 2, this variant will automatically unlock the user’s micro smartphone which is wearing it. Xiaomi has also claimed that the pedometer has improved. It has caller ID / Rejects feature. Apart from this, a reminder can also be placed in a place not allowed to sit for long.
Where Mi Band 2 had a 0.42-inch lead panel, Xiaomi Mi Band 3 has a large 0.78-inch capacitive OLED display. In the new display, users will be able to see incoming calls and text message alerts, along with the current time, the number of steps and the heart rate. It is 128×80 pixel resolution. Latest I band model has a heart-rate (PPG) sensor. It comes with a triaxial acceleration sensor. There is also a facility for sleep monitoring. Apart from this, the battery is of 110 MAH. Remember that I was using 70 mAh battery in Band2. However, battery life is 20 days.
